Friends please join me as we celebrate Latino culture in the Pittsburgh area. For the first time in over 20 years there is an exhibition with only Latino artists in Pittsburgh and I am happy to be part of. The show, Aquí (Here). celebrates Pittsburgh as our home. “Aquí is an exhibition of works that exude place, belonging and strength of vision. My hope is that the works speak to us in many different forms and that during this exhibition we place a focus on the existence of a strong Latino visual arts community here in Pittsburgh.” said artist Maritza Mosquera, curator of the show.
